Outreach Events- October 2021
Although The Generator is currently closed, we will be attending a few different outreach events in the coming weeks! At Outreach Events, staff and volunteers come together to support the cause of different organizations and spread the word of The Generator.
Give back to the community of Reno/Sparks and make art! What could be more fun?
Volunteer opportunities are tracked through Timecounts. As a 501(c)3 non-profit, The Generator tries to strengthen our community through collaboration and spreading the arts.
Animarte Reno- Art In The Park, October 2nd, 2021 12:3-4:30pm
Animarte’s last Art In The Park event of the year will take place on October 2nd at Mckinley Arts Center with collaboration with the City of Reno from 1-4pm!
This free event will be full of art activities for the whole family, put on by Animarte and community organizations such as The Generator.
Booth shifts are from 12:30-2:20pm & 2:30-4:30pm. Signup on Timecounts to join in on the fun!
Break The Silence Extravaganza w/ Faces of Success Radio, October 8th, 2021 5pm-9pm.
The Generator will be hosting an activity booth at the Break The Silence Extravaganza event. This will be held at the El Grade Ballroom off Greenbrae. Tickets and Info
Make some crafts by volunteering with The Generator. Alysia Dynamik will lead activity tables with the help of awesome volunteers like you.
PumpkinPalooza, October 23rd and 24th 2021, 9am-5pm
PumpkinPalooza is having it's 9th annual event at Victorian Square!
On the 23rd, The Reno Generator will be hosting a pumpkin carving booth, and on the 24th we will be running the Pumpkin Derby.
This event brings over 20,000 people, so we could use as many volunteers as possible! Atleast 4 volunteers per shift would be amazing!
Come be apart of the spooky magic and help event goers carve pumpkins, or race pumpkins in the derby!
