The Generator soft opening
Saturday October 2nd, 12pm-6pm
All Members are welcome to come to the space and sign up for a monthly or annual standard membership, Studio Artists will be able to move into their spaces, and we will be offering guided tours of the space during operating hours. Bell-Shop Roll overs can be used during this time. We are still getting set up and our wood and metal shop may not be fully accessible, but we want to allow the community to get together once again and start creating art!
We will be serving up pizza at 2pm. Stop by and grab a slice, say hi to some old friends and get a view of all the amazingness this new space has to offer. Looking forward to seeing everyone!!!
After our soft opening event, our hours of operation will be Tuesday-Saturday 12pm-9pm.
The Generator Grand Opening is October 23rd, 2021.
Everyone is invited to celebrate the grand opening of The Generator at The Oddie District on Saturday October 23rd from 7pm - Midnight. We’re kicking off the grand opening with our yearly Haunted Halloween Mini-Golf Party. Both new and returning members will be able to signup for memberships and start using the open shops that are operational.
ANNOUNCING 📣 Our Reno art and culture live stream has moved to Wednesday’s!
Signal Boost is our weekly live-stream show where we interview local artists, activists, musicians and makers. Every week The Generator team live streams from our maker space! We want to be more consistent with the show and bring you some hump day fun so we’ve switched our show to mid-week. Now we’ll be able to clue you in on all the best weekend happenings so you can get ready to party.
We are also looking for help with the stream. Would you like to work trade in exchange for a membership to the new Generator at Oddie? Hit us up! No experience required. We’d love to get a little crew together to make the boost more fun for everyone.
