Parade Build/Decorating Days!
The Generator is decorating a train, two pull along carts, a double decker art car and our trailer Walt, for the 6th annual 39 North Pole Village Holiday Lights Festival and Parade!
Although our building is currently closed, we want to get the community together to collaborate on this epic festive art project. We will be dragging the train and the pull along carts outside for 4 days of fixing, tinkering and decorating! We want everyone to add their touch to our artsy version of ‘The Polar Express’. We will also be revamping and decorating ‘Walt’, our flat bed trailer for the parade Santa to ride on!
We will be doing everything from replacing wood pieces, to decorating laser cut decorations to attach to Walt!

On December 4th, we will be meeting at Victorian Square for the 39 North Holiday Lights Parade! We will be meeting in the staging area at 9:30am. The Parade starts at 10, so make sure you give yourself time to find parking! Signup for the parade on timecounts and we will send you an email detailing what street we’re staging on as soon as we find out.
After the parade we will be hosting an activity and information booth. If you’re interested in volunteering, you can select a timeslot that works for you on the same timecount event.
